Emery swim teams first in region: two swimmers break school records

The Emery High swim teams hosted the region swim meet at the Aquatics Center in Castle Dale on Jan. 25. After 22 events the Emery boys and girls teams came out on top as they swam to many region titles and top three finishes in the events. Keldan Guymon set a new school record in the breast stroke and Lexi Johansen set a new record in the back stroke. The teams will keep practicing as they prepare for the state meet on Feb. 8 in Heber City.
