George and Gloria Fasselin
George and Gloria Fasselin are a golden couple. “They symbolize true love,” said their granddaughter Makayla Jensen. “My grandparents have been married for 50 years and raised four beautiful girls.
“Their life has been a ranching life, raising mostly cattle but some sheep in the Carbon, Emery and Duchesne counties areas.
“They have taught their family, including 10 grandkids and three great grandkids, the importance of love and hard work. No one eats until the animals do and no one goes to bed without saying “I love you.”
“Even after all these years, they still continue to make each other laugh. They truly are a golden couple,” said Jensen.

Dick and Lynn Huntington
Dick and Lynn Huntington of Orangeville have been married 58 years.
I have never saw true love like that even more so through all their troubles, with Lynn’s two strokes and the things that come with them, Dick takes care and loves her in such a way that we as family members are so lucky to learn from their example of enduring to the end and loving with all you have and having fun along the way. They are happy with what they have and so in love.
Elda and Delile Hinkins
This is how their daughter, McKette Hinkins Allred describes her parents.
I think it commenced when they were a young couple of 16 and 17 years old. Mom brought Dad to the Gospel and they became an eternal family. Dad worked hard at coal mining and Mom worked hard raising seven children; making ends meet with one income. The tragedy of Dad getting burned turned their lives upside down. Dad wanted to end the marriage as he looked like a monster and didn’t want mom to have to live with such an ugly looking man. Mom refused to leave stating that she had married him for eternity and she was here to stay.
Our parents didn’t have high school educations and encouraged us children to get college educations. They were always in attendance to our schooling and extra-curricular activities.
They lived the Gospel and taught us children to do the same. They spend lots of time together. They now love and support grandchildren and great grandchildren in their endeavors. They always have had their arrows out serving and doing for others.
