Middle school junior varsity basketball tournament

Middle schools from Emery and Carbon counties played the first day of the CVAA JV basketball tournament on Feb. 20 at Pinnacle Academy.
In the first day of the tournament in the boys bracket, Helper beat Green River. Helper faced Mont Harmon and lost the game. San Rafael beat Pinnacle. San Rafael faced Canyon View and lost the game. The boys championship will be decided tonight at 7 p.m. at Pinnacle Academy. The boys championship game will feature Canyon View and Mont Harmon.
In the girls bracket, Green River beat San Rafael. Green River faced Mont Harmon and lost the game. Helper beat Pinnacle. Helper faced Canyon View and lost the game. The girls championship will be decided tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Pinnacle Academy. The girls championship game will feature Canyon View and Mont Harmon.
