GALLERY: Every 15 Minutes drill at Green River High

The Emery County Sheriff’s Office put together a drill at Green River High called every 15 minutes. Local law enforcement, fire departments and Green River EMTs and the Green River Medical Center participated in the activity. Classic Air Med from Moab landed at the school to transport the critically injured.
The drill is the scenario of a drunk driver who causes a traffic accident which results in the death of a student at the school.
An assembly where the drunk driver was put on trial concluded the learning activity. The drill was planned to impress upon the minds of the students the dangers of impaired driving.
