Emery High soccer honored their senior players tonight right before the varsity match against Richfield. Parker Sermon, Tayvan Cook, Jimmy Behling, Sebastian Hughes Vieira and Tanyon Allred along with their parents and grandparents were recognized at the match.
The game started and it was a defensive battle with the score at half-time 0-0.
The Spartans came alive in the second half and scored three quick goals to get the win against Richfield.
The Spartans will begin their play-offs next week as this was the last regular season game. They will begin the first round on Thursday night, the team and time will be determined.
Behling and Hadfield made the goals this night and the final score was 3-0 with Tayvan Cook getting the shut-out.
