Max Bueno

HELPER- Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Max Avard Bueno, age 64, passed away peacefully May 18, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 7, 1954 in Price, Utah to Max and Louisa Salazar Bueno.

He married the love of his life and best friend, Colleen Madrid. They made their home in Salt Lake City and together they raised their 4 children, Michael, Ryan, Vanessa and Jessica and 5 beautiful grandkids, and 2 great grandkids. They later separated and Max moved from state to state working as a heavy equipment operator.

When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his family. He loved his kids and grandkids dearly, they were his everything. Max was loved and adored by all his nieces and nephews.

“Dad, Grandpa, we will love you always and forever.”

Max loved the outdoors, fishing, four-wheeling and he loved watching his Westerns.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Madrid, Salt Lake City; daughters, Vanessa and Jessica Bueno, both of Salt Lake City; grandkids, Chelsea, Tristen, Thyssen, Camron, Freya; 2 great grandkids; friend/care giver, Debbie Gutierrez; siblings, Tina (Osmundo) Herrera, Dennis (Anita) Salazar, Virginia (John) Solis, Maxine Bueno; brother in law, Tom Solis; many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Max and Louisa Bueno; son, Michael Madrid; brothers, Louie and Johnny Bueno; sister, Molly Solis.

Funeral Mass, Friday, May 25, 2018, 9:45 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church. Vigil service, Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m. at the church in Helper. Family will receive friends at St. Anthony’s in Helper Thursday and Friday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Max online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
