Nita Stewart
PRICE- Today we lost one heck of a character and wonderful mother, Nita L. Barker Stewart, age 82, passed away May 21, 2018 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.
She was born June 15, 1935 in Moab, Utah to Marvin S. and Edith Ellis Barker.
Married John R. Stewart November 5, 1982 in East Carbon, Utah. He passed away December 11, 2004.
Nita was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. She was the executive assistant director for the Carbon County Senior Citizens Center for 5 years. She loved to go camping and gambling and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her children, Deborah L. Hall, Price, Glenn Dale Gillespie, Price, Teresa (Robert) Jiminez, Cedar City, Anita (Steve) Radmall, Price, Roxanna (David) Clark; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial service, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 3:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where family and friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
