GALLERY:VIDEO: Emery High graduation night

The 2018 Emery High graduates came together for their commencement exercise this evening at the school.
The students marched into the auditorium in a dignified manner, but a short hour and a half later they left the building as Emery High alumni.
The evening included speeches from the Honor students Riata Christiansen, Brans Petersen and Jimmy Behling. The Salutatorian Allen Durrant addressed the audience and Samantha Roberts, Valedictorian was the concluding speaker. Principal Steven Gordon presented the seniors to the school board. Laurel Johansen board president accepted the seniors. The diplomas were passed out and the graduates gathered in the gym for pictures. A graduation party at the rec. center was also part of the festivities.
