Phillip Emmerton Fauver, 85, passed away on June 8, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Phil was born July 24, 1932 to Jay Wellington and Maebelle Clara Beatrice Miers Fauver in Ekalaka, Montana. He married Marilyn Lee Guymon in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 6, 1958. Together they raised seven children.
Phil was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings, he was an especially faithful home teacher and loved missionary work. He worked for Eastman Kodak for over 30 years and because of his employment, he and his family were able to live in numerous cities throughout the United States. Phil was an avid photographer and worked with the Emery County Progress after his retirement and move to Emery County. He also loved gardening and sharing his bountiful harvest with family, neighbors and friends. Phil participated actively with the Emery County Republican Party and served in many positions.
Phil is survived by his wife Marilyn, and children, Gail (Jeff) Mabe, of Salt Lake City, Jim (Jennifer) Fauver of Orangeville, Karen (Robert) Knowles of Braham, Minn., Bill (Michelle) Fauver of Isanti, Minn., Tammie (Ken) Mullikin of Columbus, Mont., Jonathon (Wendy) Fauver of Castle Dale and Steven (Jasmine) Johnson of Salt Lake City, 21 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and his sister Patty Leigh Tash of Corvalis, Mont. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Lou Thom and granddaughter Sara Knowles.
A viewing was held at the Orangeville 1st ward chapel on Monday June 11, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Graveside service will be held at the Orangeville City Cemetery on Tuesday, June 12, 10 a.m. with interment following.
