Huntington Heritage Days kicked off today with the annual Heritage Days Rodeo Queen Contest. The contestants were Austyn Neilson, Abbie McElprang, Ansley Staley, Lacey Anderson, Shannon Theobald and TiaLynn Moosman.
The contestants participated in modeling, speeches, judges interview with questions and in Horsemanship.
TiaLynn Moosman was pronounced the Queen with Austyn Neilson as the second attendant and Abbie McElprang as the first attendant.
These rodeo queens will preside at the annual Heritage Days rodeo on June 29 and 30 at the Huntington rodeo arena. Kids games begin at 6 p.m. and the rodeo at 8 p.m. Jamie Potter is the pageant director for the rodeo queen contest. All contestants were given prizes.
