It was a day of fun and learning for the adult class from the Castle Valley Center. They came to the Gordon’s Nursery and Floral petting zoo.
They were taken on a tour by nursery owner Tammy Oviatt. She showed them the chickens, pot belly pigs, llamas, donkeys and more.
The special field trip also boasted a lunch donated by Gordon’s, Ponderosa Grill and JN Auto.
The tour goers took turns feeding the animals and petting them. Everyone enjoyed the time away from the center and the opportunity to make friends with the creatures in the petting zoo. They also toured the nursery and saw all the pretty flowers. Event organizers said the group doesn’t get the opportunity to go on very many field trips so they were especially thankful to Gordon’s Nursery for hosting the event and inviting them to their facility.
