A truck was making a turn on the east side of Huntington this morning when the box on the truck caught low hanging power lines and brought down a number of power poles and lines in the area.
Rocky Mountain power workers were able to isolate the outage and returned power to everywhere but the immediate area where the lines went down.
Rocky Mountain Power estimates 1,200 customers were without power for approximately one hour.
Some Huntington residents are still without power as of 6 p.m.
