Libraries Rock! Is the theme chosen by the Collaborative Summer Library Program, and has been carried out throughout all eight of the county libraries.
Summer Storytime is winding down, but the fun will definitely not be over.
In August, Castle Dale Library will be hosting an Art program called: Artsy August, which will be held each Wednesday from 3:30-5 p.m. Each week participants will be able to stop by the library, any time during that time frame, and make an “artsy” project. There is a small fee for the participants: $2.50 per week, or $10 for the entire month. There are discounts available for multiple children. They will be making, Slime, DOT Art, CD Scratch ART, Tape Art and Sand Art. Pre registration is desired but not necessary to attend.
ATTENTION: any library user who owes the library money IS herby notified that FOR ONE WEEK ONLY: the Emery County Libraries will be offering AMNESTY. We will clear up all accounts, IF, you come into the library where you owe money and ask the librarian for amnesty. Which will be granted! except for: Lost materials as those will need to be paid for. AMNESTY WEEK IS; July 30 through Aug. 3. Please take advantage of this special deal.
Storytime pictures of Castle Dale Library Storytimes from June 6-July 11. and from Book Babies, a special storytime dedicated to the smallest of readers, because, as we know, Children are made readers on the laps of their parents. Book Babies is geared for ages three and younger.
Reading club will go until the end of August, for every 10 hours you read or are read to, you can come into the Castle Dale Library and choose either one Large prize or four small ones! We have had great participation in our reading club, so keep it up! Summer is almost over.
