A men’s team sponsored by Coca-Cola of Price won the 2018 Emery County men’s softball championship last week win a win over a team sponsored by JLC Fabrication of Helper. Coke was the regular season champion also and won the tournament going undefeated. JLC made the championship game after winning three straight games coming back through the loser’s bracket. A team sponsored by Bennett Custom Homes finished third and a team sponsored by Carbon-Emery Insurance was fourth.
A team sponsored by Castle Country Pediatric Dentistry defeated a team called The Executives for the 2018 Emery County Rec women’s softball championship on Wednesday Aug. 1. The Executives had won the season title and were the number one seed going into the tournament.
