Ferron Peach Days Grand Marshals

Averie Grace Ward has been fighting an aggressive and rare form of lung cancer for 3+ years, since she was 18 months old. 
She has had a lung removed, two brain surgeries, many other surgeries and countless chemo and radiation treatments. She has a heart of gold and is an amazingly fierce fighter who has shown our family and community what a miracle truly looks like. Avery has been chosen as one of the Peach Days Grand Marshals along with Eli Winter. Avery is the daughter of Brent and Jodie Ward.
Eli Winter is also a cancer survivor. Young Eli Winter recently underwent cancer surgery. He is the son of Troy and Kresta Winter.  Eli recently underwent testing and the doctors have proclaimed him to be cancer free. He along with Avery will represent Ferron as they ride in the Peach Days parade and participate in the festivities of Peach Days.
