Will Nielson

HUNTINGTON- Wilford Lou Nielson, age 75, passed from this mortal journey on Sept. 26, 2018 at his home in Huntington, Utah.

Born April 8, 1943 in Molen, Utah, Will was the oldest child of Wilford Dee and Elna Delora Wayman Nielson. He married Lorna Gail Mills on August 27, 1966. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They were blessed with three children.

Throughout Will’s life he worked for several coal mines, including Deer Creek. He also spent many years driving truck where he eventually retired. Will loved anything to do with cars; from working on them, to racing them (#Sweet Sixteen), and restoring them.

He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family camping, hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling. Will loved learning to play the guitar and playing in the Country Rovers Band. He enjoyed working with wood and was a jack of all trades. Will could fix just about anything. “Where there was ‘Will’ there was a way.”

Will was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in several callings. He served many years in the Cub Scouts as a Webelo’s Leader and Cub Master. Will loved working with the boys.
