Jackie Ungerman, Emery County Chamber of Commerce, Brett Behling, Southeastern Utah Association of Local Government, Marlin Eldred, Emery County Economic Development Director, Lorin Israelson, Eric Howes, and Alice Israelson cuts the ribbon.

During the morning of Nov. 25, Alice Israelson cut the ribbon to her new business in Castle Dale. The business, Crystal Clear Images, located in the rear of her home at 290 West 100 North, officially opened Nov 26. Israelson will do photography work in her newly acquired studio.
Israelson was raised in Chicago, Ill. and yearned for the mountains. After relocating to Emery County 25 years ago, she has come to love her time in the mountains and enjoys photographing the places she visits, so most of the photos that she sells are local scenes.
Driven by this love of nature and photography, Israelson took computer art and photography classes. Following that, she enrolled in the NxLevel business class. She created her own business plan and received a grant from the SouthEastern Utah Association of Local Governments which helped to purchase the electronics and equipment to open Crystal Clear Images.
Some special features of this new business will be nature photographs, photo refurbishing, enlargements and lamination. The lamination process she uses incorporates a core backing in the preparation of the print.
To contact Crystal Clear images, phone 435-381-2903 or email alice@etv.net. The fax number is 435-381-2099.
