On June 11 there was a break-in at Randy’s Service in Emery.
Detective Jeff Thomas arrived at the location and processed the crime scene.
An investigation was started and a suspect has been arrested and charged with the crime. Grocery items and cigarettes were among the things taken. Entry to the business was gained through breaking the back door. Detective Thomas said residents of Emery were concerned that someone passing through might have committed the crime, but the suspect was a local individual who lived in Emery County at the time of the crime and now resides in Carbon County.
The punishment for the crime will be determined through the court system.
