RICHFIELD/EMERY-Rachel Young Dale Peterson, 99, of Ferron and formerly of Richfield, passed away Aug. 3, 2005 in Ferron. She was born Nov. 7, 1905 in Bingham, to Archibald William and Belinda Robison Young. She married Reginald Thomas Dale on March 14, 1933 in the Manti Temple. He passed away May 17, 1938. She married John Simeon Peterson, Aug. 23, 1968 in Monroe. He preceded her in death.
She was a life long member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities including a mission to the Eastern States. She graduated from Richfield High School and Brigham Young Academy. She worked in the Richfield City Library and for the Utah State Bookmobile.
She is survived by children, Thomas Rex Dale of Orem, Joseph Verl (VeRee) Dale of Ferron, Naomi Ann (John R.) Tanner of Lehi, Edith Reganna Opfar of Pleasant Grove; step-daughter, Janice Sutliff of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Parley Young, Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her husbands; Reginald and Sim; sisters, Jessie, Reba and Alta; brother, Frank; parents, Archie and Belinda.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. in the Richfield 8th and 15th LDS Ward Chapel, 200 East Center. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, on Friday from 7- 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Richfield on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.

Maxine Dyett


PRICE – Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Maxine Warren Dyett, age 71, passed away July 31, 2005 in Price. Born Aug. 8, 1933 in Mapleton to Burton and LaRie Dibble Warren. Married Ralph Dyett July 31, 1954 in Elko, Nev.
“Mackie” loved her Wendover trips and playing cards with her family and friends. She was an avid Utah Jazz fan and she watched every game. She enjoyed camping, reading and especially caring for her family and grandchildren. “Mackie” will be dearly missed by her “Old Man,” her family, and a community of friends.
Survived by loving husband of 51 years, Ralph Dyett, Price; son, David (Missy) Dyett, Layton; daughters, Christy Dyett, Tucson, Ariz.; Martie Dyett, Price; four grandchildren, Ashley, Kinnison, Jordan and Jack; stepmother, Burniece Warren, Provo; sister, Connie (Carlos) Perkins, Salt Lake; and brother, Dean Warren, Provo. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Glenna Burt.
Funeral service Fri., Aug. 5, 11 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street, Price. Family will be at Mitchell’s Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.

Lila P. Wayman Marshall Mills


“Beloved Mother”
Beloved mother and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father Aug. 7, 2005. She was born on Aug.11 in Castle Dale, Utah to Charles and Hannah Maryann Cook Wayman. She married Everond Marshall on Oct. 10, 1934. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple. He passed away Nov. 8, 1971. She married Ray Mills on Sept. 1972 and he passed away Feb. 28, 1993.
Lila served as a LDS Temple worker for 10 years and faithfully served in many capacities in the church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands; parents; two sisters; five brothers; and two grandchildren, Dale Lynn, Shalyn Marshall, and stepdaughter, Janet Livingston.
She is survived by her sons, Lloyd (La’Dean), Donald (Betty), Walter (Linda), Mark (Connie) Marshall; daughter, Marjorie (Leon) Goff; stepchildren, Laura Wirthlin, Barbara Morley, Calvin, Larry, and Leonard Gordon, Terry and Steven Mills; 67 grandchildren; 168 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members.
Funeral services will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. on Thurs., Aug. 11 with a short viewing one hour prior at the Murray 22 Ward chapel, 619 West 5750 South, Murray. A viewing will be held Aug. 10 at the Desert Mortuary, 36 East 700 South Salt Lake City from 6-8 p.m. Her interment will be in Huntington at the city cemetery. Mona Evans


HELPER – Ramona Gene Kilcrease Evans, age 71, passed away Aug. 1, 2005.
She was born Oct. 30, 1933 in Clarksville, Ark., to Garland and Lucille Steel Kilcrease. Married Vernon Reese Evans June 13, 1953 in Price; he died Sept. 8, 1998.
Mona was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a member of the Baptist Church. She loved to crochet. She enjoyed spending time with her family and babysitting her great-granddaughter, Katie.
Survived by two sons, Reese (Virginia) Evans, Price; Randy (Desty) Evans, Mineral Wells, Texas; five brothers and four sisters, David Kilcrease, Key Largo, Fla.; Margaret (Tony) Pinarelli, Santee, Calif.; Linda Crowe, Price; Gary (Connie) Kilcrease, Price; Larry (Carol) Kilcrease, Spokane, Wash.; Judy (Kelly) Fausett, Price; Brent (Joan) Kilcrease, Wellington; Pam (Ray) Clark, Deltona, Fla.; Mike (Martha) Kilcrease, Payson; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Kerr, Monica Evans, Brandi Evans and great-granddaughter, Katie Kerr. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers and one sister.

Janet Shiner


TWIN FALLS, IDAHO-Janet Lucille Stone Shiner, passed away on July 2, 2005 at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. Janet was born Aug. 12, 1931 in Latuda, Utah, the fourth of six children born to David and Agnes Stone. She married Robert Oran Shiner, Oct. 11, 1952 in Price.
Surviving Janet is her husband of 52 years, Robert; two daughters, Jana (Garth) Iverson, Cool, Calif., Becky (Kraig) Stong, Great Falls, Mont.; four grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Miser, Plattsmouth, Neb., Robby (Liz) Stong, La Maddalena, Sardinia, Tammy (Steve) Thomas, Great Falls, Mont., Owen Stong, Great Falls, Mont.; one great-grandchild, Dakota Miser, Plattsmouth, Neb.; and three sisters, Ruth (Bert) Prichard, Price, Jean Maynarich, Helper, Donna Safley, Oregon City, Ore. Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be Fri. Aug. 12, 2005 at noon, Price City Cemetery, Price. Memorial service will be Sat. Aug. 13, 2005, 11 a.m., Price City Cemetery, under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.
