LAWRENCE-Our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend Brianne Dawn Mason Simmons, lost her valiant battle with cancer on Nov. 14, 2011 with her mother by her side.
Brianne was born May 31, 1979 in Price, Utah to Keven and Earlene Owen Mason. She was the first-born of four amazing girls and a mother figure from the start.
Brianne grew up in Huntington, Utah and graduated from Emery High School in May of 1997. She married Paul Simmons in June of 1997 and they made their home in Lawrence, Utah with their four beautiful girls.
Brianne loved to dance, sing, be goofy, camp, fish, take pictures, play sports, and scrapbook. Her infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around her. Brianne’s most important treasures on this earth were her four little girls; Kamrie Brianne, Sarah Danielle, Raquelle Diane, and Madilyn Rose. She would do anything for them and always put them first. Brianne was a born-again Christian and an active member of Desert Edge Christian Chapel. God was the biggest part of her life and she is dancing in His presence now.
Brianne is survived by her four daughters, Kamrie, Danielle, Raquelle, and Madilyn; parents, Keven and Earlene Mason; sisters, Heidi (Dustin) Carlson, Jessica (Nick) Teny, and Mallorie Mason (TyLee Allred); grandparents, Joseph and Esta Lee Mason and Irene (Reed) Halliday; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Diane Simmons; sister-in-law, Sara (Jason) Lamb, brother-in-law, Joshua Simmons; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and her grandfather, Don R. Owen.
