GREEN RIVER-Lidia Trevizo Mendoza, age 69, passed away May 6, 2012 in Provo, Utah, surrounded by those she loved. mShe was born April 20, 1943 in Colonial, Juarez, Mexico to Silviano and Margarita Pulliam Trevizo.
Married Andres Mendoza on March 7, 1964 in Hejigo, Hernandez, Mexico.
Lidia was a longtime resident of Green River, Utah where she lived an active life and raised three sons and one daughter. She was the core of the family and was always there for good times and bad times. Her family was her passion and she loved nothing more than doing things for her family and extended family. Her children and grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. She treated everyone with respect and dignity and made us all feel like we were her favorite. We may no longer see her but we will always have those special moments that we shared with her. She will always have a special place in our hearts. We are all so thankful to have had her in our lives and thank her for the example she set.
Survived by her husband, Andres Mendoza; three sons and one daughter, Arturo (Laura) Mendoza; Virgilio (Antonia) Mendoza; Alicia (Ernesto) Escalante; Raul (Selene) Mendoza; all of Green River, Utah; she was surrounded daily by her eleven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; brothers and sisters, Oscar Trevizo, Uriel Trevizo, Silviano Trevizo, Rosalia Trevizo, Adelisa Treviso.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother Carlos.
Funeral Mass, Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 10 a.m., St. Michael Catholic Church, 140 North Long Street, Green River, Utah. Holy Rosary will be recited Monday evening 6 p.m. at the church in Green River. Committal service Elgin Cemetery, Green River, Utah.
