Tim Blackburn representing JustServe is a free community resource sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This program is titled “Just Serve.” April is National Volunteerism Month which means volunteering is being emphasized throughout the United States.
The JustServe.org website is used by faith, nonprofit, community and government organizations to post service opportunities. People in the community use JustServe.org to work with community partners to identify needs and respond to those needs in the spirit of charitable service.
JustServe.org can be used to match up organizations that need volunteers with those people that want to volunteer. This resource can be used by parents to teach children and others the joys and satisfaction that come from work.
For a person who wants to volunteer JustServe.org reduces the time needed to find meaningful service opportunities and allows more time to give service. It helps you get involved in the community and allows you to select service opportunities that are a perfect fit for yourself, your family or your organization.
