The Emery High boys’ soccer team faced the Templars for an opportunity to forge a tie in the 2-A Central region for first place. The Templars prevailed however and now have a two-game lead in the region as region action is coming to a close. Manti won the game 3-1 and the Templars are now 9-1 in region with just a single loss to Gunnison Valley on the record. Emery is 8-3 for the season followed by Wasatch Academy at 7-3. Grand has a region record of 5-6, Gunnison Valley is 5-5, South Sevier is 2-8 and North Sevier is 0-10. Emery will close out the season with a game against North Sevier. Manti closes the season with games against North Sevier and South Sevier. Wasatch Academy will close the season at Grand and at home against Gunnison Valley.
