PRICE-Cynthia Jensen, age 45, passed away on Dec. 11, 2010 in Price, Utah. She was born to Richard Jay and Maria Sandoval Olsen on July 25, 1965 in Murray, Utah.
Cynthia married Norman Kip on June 16, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nev., they later divorced, then married Shel Jensen on Dec. 11, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nev., they later divorced, she then married Brent Chaffin.
She was born and raised in Murray, Utah, graduating from Murray High School in 1983. She participated and traveled in the school choir that performed in Hawaii, New York City, and California. After high school, she managed her father’s restaurants for many years. Cynthia’s hobbies were sewing, crafts, reading, cooking, fishing and traveling.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She always remembered birthdays and her favorite time of year was Christmas. She will be remembered as a loving caring person who always gave to those in need.
She is survived by her parents: Richard and Kathy Olsen of Las Vegas, Nev., children: Daniel (Yvette) Kip of Price, Madeleine (Joshua) Hayes, and Dallan Jensen both of Helper, step-children: Brian (Nannette) Chaffin, Britnee (Mike) Faircoulgh, seven grandchildren: Chris and Celeste Smith, Kayden Hayes, Brant, Gabe and Briana Chaffin,Taylor Scow and two sisters: Elaine (Javier) Rodriguez of Springville and Kim (Nale) Fakahua of Saint George, grandmother: Patsy Sandoval.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Abram Sandoval and Jay and Margaret Olsen.
A memorial service will be held on Friday. Dec. 17, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South-Price). Family will receive friends at 12 p.m. prior the services at the mortuary.
