Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Mary Sue Chapman Dutson passed away suddenly on Dec. 17, 2010 from involvement in an automobile accident. Mary Sue was born on Jan. 3, 1961 to Spenst Gale and Verna Chapman in Price, Utah.
Mary Sue began school in Kemmerer, Wyo. and graduated from Emery County High School in 1979. She graduated with an Associate’s degree from Snow College in 1981 before serving an LDS mission to Cleveland Ohio.
After returning from her mission, Mary Sue completed a Bachelor’s degree in Child Education from USU. Mary Sue married Gary Lee Dutson on March 17, 1984 in the Salt Lake temple. Mary Sue and Gary are the parents of five children. They have resided in Lynndyl, Utah since 1985.
Mary Sue was a very compassionate person. She was very creative and loved crafts, writing poetry, and playing with her grandson Ryley. Mary Sue loved the Lord and devoted her life to serving her family. We love her and will always miss her.
Mary Sue is survived by: her husband Gary; her children Andrew (Katie), Emily, and Matthew; her grandson Ryley; her parents Gale and Verna Chapman; and her siblings Gregg (Denise) Chapman and Danette Houston. Mary Sue is preceded in death by: her infant children David and Daniel; her sister Chandra Callister; her three infant brothers; and her infant niece Chaliece Callister.
