LAWRENCE-Harvey Brinkerhoff age 84, passed away, June 9, 2011. Harvey was born Nov. 14, 1926 the youngest boy born to Edward and Della Harvey Brinkerhoff. He married Pearl Anderson on Oct. 27, 1951 in Castle Dale, Utah. They have been married for almost 60 years.
Harvey attended North Emery High School in Huntington, where he was very active in the FFA. He was a farmer by trade and loved working with his animals. Even though he wasn’t able to see well, he was able to see with his hands by touch and feel. He worked in the coal mines for one year and for Nielson Construction. Harvey enjoyed riding his motorcycle, riding his horse, and spending time with his wife and nieces and nephews. Harvey and Pearl loved spending time in the mountains, and just being together.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Pearl, sister-in-law: Stella Reid of Castle Dale, nieces and nephews: Lee (Pam) Jeffs of Castle Dale, Ray (Teresa) Jeffs of Orangeville, JoAnn Jeffs of Castle Dale, Debbie (Bob) Smith of Lawrence, Paul (Diane) Brinkerhoff of Orangeville and Edna (Eddie) Fox of Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Della Brinkerhoff, brother: Edward James (Pat) Brinkerhoff and nephew: Jay Jeffs.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, (720 N. Center St.) A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery.
