Matt Stucki died after a short illness on Oct. 29, 2016 at his mother’s home in Price Utah. Matt was born on September 27, 1985 in Provo, Utah. His parents are George C. Stucki (deceased) and Christine Stucki Watkins.
He attended schools in Emery County and graduated from Emery High. Matt was an accomplished athlete in both football and basketball. He worked for Apex/Vivint Alarm companies. He was an outstanding technician. He left that work to work in North Dakota in the oil fields. After the oil dropped he came back to Utah and was working for AMP Alarms when he died. He married Ashley Nelson and they divorced, he married Tiffany Wilkinson and they divorced. In 2014 he married Kelly Carter and became an instant dad to twins, Wyatt and Annie. Matt was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved riding dirt bikes and going to Utah Jazz games. He loved his family and close friends and stayed in contact with everyone. Matt was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Stucki, step children Wyatt and Annie Carter, mother Christine Watkins and step-dad John Watkins of Price. He leaves behind his brothers, Rjay Stucki of Price, Utah, Daniel (Becci) Stucki of Riverton, Utah, Rory (Jen) Stucki of Syracuse, New York, and sister Summer (Steve) Underwood of Salt Lake City, Utah. Also nephews Ashton Stucki, Ian Pitcher, Cedar Pastrana, Austin Johnson, and niece Sky Lin Pastrana.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, Utah from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Castle Dale 1st Ward building in Castle Dale, Utah at 11 a.m. with a viewing an hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
