Oliver Warbucks gets on the phone to the FBI to help locate Annie’s parents.

Leapin Lizards! The Emery County Community Theatre brought the popular comic strip heroine to Emery County.
Annie took centerstage in one of the world’s best loved musicals at the Emery High School auditorium on April 29, 30, May 1 and 3.
Annie is a spunky depression era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage, run by the cruel and embittered Miss Hannigan.
In adventure after fun filled adventure, Annie foiled Miss Hannigan’s evil plots. Annie also befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire
Oliver Warbucks. Warbucks personal secretary, Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy also became part of Annie’s new family.
Cast members included: Rachel Rogers as Annie, Con Anderson as Daddy Warbucks, Vicky Kinder as Grace Farrell, Shala Pitchforth as Miss Hannigan, Jake Barnett as Rooster Hannigan, Gina Sitterud as Lily St. Regis, Val Jenkins as Drake, Cori Gunderson as Annette, Candice Jensen as Cecile, Florie Jenkins and Mrs. Pugh, Dolly Stephens as Mrs. Greer, Brian Dawes as President Roosevelt, Shelly Allred as Eleanor Roosevelt, Paul Jensen as Louis Howe, and Val Jenkins as Mr. Bundles.
Orphans were: Courtney Sitterud as Duffy, Kelcy Faimalo as July, Kielie Ivie as Kate, Aspen Bloomer as Molly, Savannah Winn as Pepper, and Blayr Jeffs as Tessie. The apple peddler was played by Kelsi Ekker, who also played the up and coming star. Sandy the lovable dog was played by Paytn Jeffs.
The orphan chorus was played by: Lauren Clarke, Brianne Dawes, Kerri Dudley, Sydni Eker, Melanie Frisbie, Jessica Labrum, Amanda Maxfield, Britnee Murdoch, Laycee Murdoch, Whitney Roper, Elly Stephens, Ashley Stilson, Courtney Tuttle and Taran White. Policemen and dog catchers were Ron Jensen, Ronny Bloomer and Jason Christensen.
Servants and New York City chorus were: Shelly Allred, Jake Barnett, Brian Dawes, Kelsi Ekker, Cori Gunderson, Florie Jenkins, Val Jenkins, Candice Jensen, Paul Jensen, Mindy Labrum Scott Labrum, Gina Sitterud, Dolly Stephens, Tiffany Tuttle and Kaylee VanWagoner. The Hooverville cast were: Paul Jensen as Artie, Candice Jensen as Edie, Scott Labrum as Fred, Dolly Stephens as Mary, Ann Murdoch as Peggy, and Kaylee VanWagoner as Sophi. Nathan Mecham and Lance Sitterud boys in the street and Mark Justice was the radio announcer.
