Holly Damron will play Cinderella and Jordan Sanders will star as the Prince.

The Emery County Community Theater will present Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
Cinderella is a truly magical and romantic musical story that will have you laughing one minute and sighing the next. The entire cast is truly magical as well.
Cinderella (Holly Damron) is a sweet and lovely young maiden who lives with her wicked stepmother (Linda Daley) and her two stepsisters (Tanie Worthen and Loyette Holdaway). They simply dominate Cinderella and force her to do all the chores around the house and garden, plus wait on them hand and foot.

The wicked step-sisters Tanie Worthen and Loyette Holdaway practice their parts for the upcoming Cinderella production by the Community Theatre.

On the other hand, there is a handsome and charming young prince (Jordan Sanders) whose parents, the King and Queen (Val Jenkins and Tricia Erickson) want him to choose a young girl from the kingdom to marry. So the Queen decides to have a ball and invite all young eligible females to attend. The Prince, of course, is not very excited about the idea.
Cinderella is told by her stepmother that she will not be allowed to go with them to the ball–enter her Fairy Godmother (Dolly Stephens).
For the rest of the magical story, come to the Emery High Auditorium Feb. 8, 9, 10, and 12 at 7 p.m. There will be a matinee on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.
