HELPER- Our loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Fred James Scarcelli, age 75, passed away Oct. 9, 2007 in Price.
He was born Feb. 26, 1932 in Standardville, Utah to James and Mary Toson Scarcelli.
Married Patsy Jane Tamllos Feb. 18, 1956 in Las Vegas Nev. She died Jan. 29, 2006.
Jim was a life long resident of Helper and a graduate of Carbon High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Jim was inducted into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame Foundation and the Utah High School Activities Association in 2006. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his daughters, Jalene (Greg) Dipietro, Salt Lake City; Susan (Rusty) Atwood, Hotchkiss, Colo.; brother, Bob (Patti) Scarcelli, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy; three brothers, Johnny, Albert, and Ernie Cook.
At Jim’s request there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.

Mardie Lynn Beynon Holum


Mardie Lynn Beynon Holum, daughter of Virginia Lowry Beynon, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 5, 2007 at the LDS Hospital. Funeral services were held in Bountiful First Ward on Tuesday Oct. 9.
Mardie is survived by husband Rod; children Michael and Bobbie Holum; mother Virginia Beynon; brothers Chick, Rod, Guy, Kelly and Chris Beynon; aunt Dorothy Childs; and cousins Allen Childs (Colleen), Debbie Fields (Steve) and Diane Hagara (Bob).
