Fon Leamaster will celebrate his 80th birthday on Jan. 26.
Fon was born Jan. 26, 1930 in Hiawatha to Delbert and Marie Ungerman Leamaster. He grew up in Hiawatha and Huntington. He has been a resident of Huntington all of his adult life.
After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict, Fon married Ramona Kinder. Together they raised five children; Susan Childs (Vernon), Dawn, Vic, Del and Brett (Natalie). They have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Ramona passed away in March, 1994.
A family dinner will be held in his honor.
