HUNTINGTON – LeOra Fish, age 80, passed away Sept. 2, 2011 in Price, Utah. She was born July 2, 1931 in Emery, Utah to Clinton J. Broderick and Rosetth Pearce. She married Hugh Fish on July 15, 1948 in Castle Dale, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on Jan. 29, 1964 in the Manti LDS Temple.
LeOra was born with music in her soul. She loved singing, playing the piano and organ, whittling wonderful creations out of wood, eating chicken strips and spending time with her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball. She also liked being a “Snowbird” during the winter and traveling to her favorite destination, Quartzsite, Ariz. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her three children: Brenda (Shon) Frye of Sigurd, Utah, Susan (Bill) Moore of Purdy, Mo., and Scott Fish of Arizona; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Maurine (Don – deceased) of Salt Lake City, Utah; and brother, Ronald (Lorna) of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugh; and daughters: Vickie and Dana.
A graveside service was held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Huntington City Cemetery. Viewing was on Saturday, Sept. 10. 2011 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Fausett Mortuary (720 North Center Street – Castle Dale, Utah.) Interment was in the Huntington City Cemetery.
