The Emery County Sheriff’s Office is concerned about a few mysterious deaths of horses in the area. There is an ongoing investigation as to how and why these horses died.
There has been an autopsy performed and tests are being conducted to try to determine cause of death.Any findings will be turned over to the Emery County Attorney’s office. There are several entities involved in trying to get to the bottom of the issue.
The horses affected have been brought to the area and are being taken care of until they can be sold by the owner. It is these horses that have been affected by the mysterious deaths.
