Fairchild International forms alliance with Genco Mine Service to expand presence in Western United States
Fairchild International, a U.S.-based manufacturer of underground mining equipment, is now working with Genco Mine Service of Huntington to sell and service its full line of underground mining equipment west of the Mississippi River.
Through this alliance, Fairchild expects to increase its geographic reach in the coal mining industry and create new markets among mine operators that specialize in the extraction of soda ash, potash and molybdenum, as well as other minerals and metals.
“By working with Genco, we are taking advantage of market opportunities while expanding our presence in the mining industry,” says Jack Fairchild Jr., Fairchild’s Vice President of Sales. “I am grateful to Glenn Sebring and his team for using their technical expertise and longtime relationships to increase demand for the full product line of Fairchild equipment.”
“What drew us to Fairchild was the quality of their equipment,” says Glenn Sebring, Owner and President, Genco Mine Service. “They’re a premier manufacturer of American-made underground mining support vehicles, and that’s a good fit for our customers. Many of them have long been impressed by the quality of Fairchild’s equipment, and I’m happy to make those products more accessible than ever in the western United States.”
