PRICE-Clara Della Clingman Miller, age 81, passed Friday Oct. 26, 2012 at the Heirloom while surrounded by her loving family. Clara was born in Minersville, Utah to Charles Clingman and Ila LaRue Colton on Dec. 30, 1930. She married Robert L. Miller on July 15, 1950 in Elko, Nevada, and made their home in Price where they raised five children. Funeral service, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price. USU Eastern’s 14th Annual Bread ‘N Soup Night
USU Eastern’s 14th annual Bread ‘N Soup Night to benefit the Carbon County Food Bank will be held three nights, beginning Nov. 5 and continuing each consecutive Monday, ending on the 19 (Nov. 5, 12, and 19).
Menus for Bread ‘N Soup Night: Nov. 5-Cream of Potato (vegetarian), Chicken Noodle, Tomato (vegan and gluten free), rolls and butter. Nov. 12-Cheesy Broccoli (vegetarian), Chicken Caribbean, Cream of Potato (vegetarian), rolls and butter. Nov. 19-Cream of Potato (vegetarian), Chili, Clam Chowder, Tomato (vegan and gluten free), rolls and butter. All are welcome to attend between 5 and 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center. Prices are $6 for adults and students 15 and over, $4 for students 5 – 14. Children 5 and under are admitted free. For the price of admission, each person will receive two tickets, good toward one bowl of soup apiece, with children 5 and under receiving one ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $2 per bowl.
