PRICE-Jay Raymond Cook, age 76, passed away on March 6, 2013 in Price, Utah. Jay was born on April 26, 1936 in Price, Utah to Kenneth Martin and Pearl White Cook.
Jay joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and honorably served his country. Jay married Carol Hansen March 7, 1958 they had seven children then later divorced. He enjoyed watching bull riding, rodeos and spending time with his family and friends, he especially enjoyed reminiscing with his brothers.
Jay is survived by his children: Debbie Cook of Payson, Utah, Vickie (Kelly) Koonce of Huntington, Dell (Quana) Cook of Orangeville, Calvin Cook, Lisa Cook both of Payson, Utah, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brothers: Ron (Carol) Cook of Price, George (Sarah) Cook of Wellington, Howard (Shirley) Cook of Price.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Cook, daughter, Louise.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price (680 East 100 South.) A viewing will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary and also on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will be held in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Jay at www.fausettmortuary.com.
