On March 6 at 6 a.m. a truck was reported missing in Castle Dale. The vehicle had last been seen the previous evening about 6 p.m. The vehicle was located in Provo at 8 a.m. on Thursday by the Provo police department. The vehicle is now back in Castle Dale. The Emery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the stolen vehicle. They collected evidence from the vehicle. The vehicle was abandoned and nothing was missing from the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2000 Nissan Frontier. The vehicle was not damaged. Detectives said they do not know why the vehicle was taken. The truck belongs to Scott Johansen of Castle Dale. The detectives said they are following up on leads in the case.
