BLM seeks comments on natural gas pipeline

By By

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah, Moab Field Office is seeking comments on an environmental assessment (EA) that analyzes a proposal from Gray Canyon Energy for a 10 inch buried natural gas pipeline.
The purpose of the pipeline would be to transport dry natural gas from the existing Greentown Gas Processing Facility to the Green River Oil Upgrade facility in Green River, Utah, where it will be used to help power operations.
The proposed pipeline parallels existing Grand County roads. The EA analyzes three alternatives and addresses several issues raised during scoping, including air quality, socioeconomics, soils, wildlife, and
traffic and transportation. A copy of the EA, including maps, is available on the BLM ePlanning website project page for this proposed right
of way application (http://go.usa.gov/xkVXB).
Comments will be accepted by letter or email through November 21, 2016. Comments may submitted electronically to blm_ut_mb_comments@blm.gov or
mailed to the following address (Please reference “Gray Canyon Energy ROW”
