Spartans host first swim meet

The Emery High swim team hosted their first meet of the year on Nov. 4. The boys and girls team each took first place at the meet. The boys had a total of 463 points, followed by Wasatch Academy with 333 points, Gunnison Valley with 183 points and North Sanpete with 169 points. The girls had a total of 432 points, followed by Wasatch Academy with 209 points, Gunnison Valley with 202 points and North Sanpete with 131 points.
In the women’s 200 yard medley, Alexis Johansen, Tarryn Parkins, Kaelee Hooley and Katie Carter placed first. In the men’s 200 yard medley, Deegan Minchey, Keldan Guymon, Daryl Guymon and Garret Stilson placed first.
In the women’s 200 yard freestyle, Alexis Johansen placed second. In the men’s 200 yard freestyle, Garret Stilson placed first.
In the women’s 200 yard individual medley, Kaelee Hooley place first. In the men’s 200 yard individual medley, Daryl Guymon placed first.
In the women’s 50 yard freestyle, Katie Carter placed second. In the men’s 50 yard freestyle, Logan Cox placed sixth.
In the men’s 100 yard fly, Daryl Guymon placed first. The girls results were not available.
In the women’s 100 yard freestyle, Laci Hulse place fourth. In the men’s 100 yard freestyle, Logan Cox placed sixth.
In the women’s 500 yard freestyle, Katie Carter place second. In the men’s 500 yard freestyle, Garret Stilson placed first.
In the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay, Sydney Terwilleger, BriAnne Bass, Tarryn Parkins and Shiloh Hayward placed second. In the men’s 200 yard freestyle relay, Deegan Minchey, Allen Durrant, Gage Jensen, and Keldan Guymon placed second.
In the women’s 100 yard backstroke, Kaelee Hooley placed first. In the men’s 100 yard backstroke, Parker Stilson placed third.
In the women’s 100 yard breaststroke, Tarryn Parkins placed fourth. In the men’s 100 yard breaststroke, Keldan Guymon placed first.
In the women’s 400 yard freestyle relay, BriAnne Bass, Alexis Johansen, Kaelee Hooley and Katie Carter placed first. In the men’s 400 yard freestyle relay, Garret Stilson, Levi Olsen, Malone Moss and Daryl Guymon placed first.
