Nicole Dawn Staker, 35, passed away Aug. 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family in Evanston, Wyoming.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1982 in Price, Utah to James Allen and Connie (Slagowski) Staker.
Nicole loved to listen to loud music, shopping at Walmart, going to the farmer’s market, doing word searches and crossword puzzles, watching TV, attending concerts with her mom, going on school field trips, hanging with friends at the Castle Valley Day Hab Care Center and Evanston Day Hab, teasing her family and friends. She loved her cats, coffee and her job. She enjoyed petting horses on her dad’s farm. She loved to argue, she was always right and she gave the best hugs. She was very thoughtful and concerned about what others needed. And she was always giving extra treats to the puppies. She loved to work and buying people gifts.
Nicole was a fighter from birth and we were blessed to have her with us.
She is survived by her mother, Connie Staker, Evanston, Wyo.; her father, James Allen Staker, Elmo, Utaj; and her siblings: Casey Staker of Salt Lake City; Chris Staker of Evanston, and Tania Bishop of Milliken, Colo.
A funeral service will be on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Evanston LDS South Stake Center. Interment will follow in the Evanston City Cemetery.
