Visitors pick from a variety of vegetables. |
Each Saturday, until Sept. 17, a farmer’s market is being held at the Emery County Recreation building, 75 South 400 East in Castle Dale, from 9 a.m.-noon. More than just fruits and vegetables are available at this farmer’s market.
Along with the fresh produce, homemade jams and jellies, fresh honey, baked goods, spices and seasonings, and crafts are available. There is an on-going contest for the biggest produce, and on the final day, Sept. 17, a chili cook-off will be held, and prizes will be awarded.
To reserve a table, for which there is no charge, call Laura Burgess at 381-2970. Crafters, and anyone else with something to sell, are welcome. Everyone is welcome to come and buy at the Farmer’s Market.
