On Aug. 25, a 1991 Chevy pickup carrying three teenagers rolled one and a half times.
The pickup was heading south on SR-10 at milepost 31.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Castleview Hospital and transported by LifeFlight to a Salt Lake hospital.
He was in the intensive care unit, but has been upgraded and is still hospitalized.
The two male passengers were treated and released at the Emery Medical Center.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Kelly the male driver, 16, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and one of the passengers was possibly wearing one.
The vehicle went off the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected going left and then back across the road where it left the roadway and overturned one and half times coming to a stop on its top.
Sgt. Kelly cites inattentive driving as the probable cause of the accident.
The two male passengers ages were listed as 16 and 15 years of age.
The pickup received extensive damage in the accident and the entire cab was smashed flat.
